The Grady Vet Team Shares Their Love of Animals
Among our Grady Veterinary Hospital team, there’s a broad consensus: We’ve always loved animals and known from childhood that we were called to a career helping them. Here are some of our staff, sharing the love in their own words.
“I’ve been an animal lover since I can remember. I get easily attached to my patients.”Carrie
“I have loved animals since I was a kid and knew I wanted a career with animals. I like getting to meet different breeds and people.”Shirley
“I love seeing the client/patient relationship. As a child, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. I love medicine, animals and working with people.”Dr. Gamber
“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved all animals. And I’ve always worked in customer service, so a career at Grady’s seemed like a great fit!”Amy
“I love being your pet’s safe spot during visits. I can be their voice, their protection and even help educate when needed. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help the innocent and wake up every morning proud to be doing what I’m doing.”Brittney
“I love to see animals get to go home to enjoy their families. I perform a variety of soft tissue, orthopedic and neurologic surgeries to help small animals live healthier, happier lives.”Dr. Ward
“I really just love animals. I would rather spend my time helping animals than doing anything else. I can’t imagine doing anything else!”Zoriah
“When I worked in a human ER, I thought working with animals would be an even more perfect fit for me. I am an animal lover and love seeing all the pets that come into Grady Vet.”Lori
“When my pet was sick, I came to Grady Vet and saw the care and passion the staff showed to us. I share those same values and wanted to become part of the team. I love being able to help animals and to be part of leading them to health.”Gabrielle
“I have always loved animals, and this job affords me the opportunity to help care for them at their most difficult time. I enjoy interacting with the many different clients who entrust us with the care of their pets, and I especially like getting to love and nurture the animals as if they were my own.”Darryl
“I love seeing the human-animal bond and helping people and their pets through the really tough moments.”Logan
We appreciate the diverse perspectives each of our team members brings to their important roles at the hospital. But there’s one thing we all share: love of animals and care for our patients. Check out our video “Why We Love Working with Animals” for more reasons our staff chose their careers.
